The Tech & Data Services BU offers system integration, cloud/managed services, data management solutions, and compliance technology services to help clients address complex challenges across processes such as Pharmacovigilance, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Lab, Manufacturing, and Validation & Assurance.

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Senior Associate to join our Business Development team, focusing on expanding our Technology & Data (Tech & Data) Services Business Unit. This role is ideal for a professional who has proven experience in B2B lead-generation, building client relationships, new accounts discovery, and growing sales pipeline in the Life Sciences / pharma industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the sales hunting strategy aligned with Sales leadership and regional priorities outlined in the Go-to-Market (GTM) plan.
  • Conduct in-depth market and client research to identify and prospect new business opportunities via email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Actively support lead generation through marketing campaigns such as webinars and conferences.
  • Initiate outbound calls, engage with prospects, and follow up on leads to qualify them for the sales pipeline.
  • Understand customer needs and identify opportunities to sell Tech & Data Services solutions. Provide detailed information to prospects to address inquiries and support the decision-making process.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and understand the value proposition of various solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities within the CRM system and prepare weekly activity reports for sales and business unit leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership in the APAC region to align strategies and ensure successful outcomes.
  • No travel is anticipated for this role.
  • Work hours: India business hours.

The ideal candidate for this job position is expected to meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, with a focus on the APAC Life Sciences/Pharma sector, specifically in selling technology services and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the Life Sciences industry, with a particular emphasis on GxP/Compliance areas such as clinical, pharmacovigilance, regulatory, lab, and manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and the impact on business within the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively and understand their needs.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
