Techsol Corporation, doing business as Techsol Life Sciences and Techsol Life Sciences Private Limited (collectively, “Techsol”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), are committed to protecting our personally identifiable information (“personal information”) and your right to privacy.

This privacy notice (the “Notice”) applies to all personal information collected through our website (www.techsollifesciences.com), and that of our subsidiary, SciMax Global LLC (www.scimaxglobal.com) and/or any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in Notice as the “Sites“). We are a data controller for the personal information collected and processed within the scope of this Notice

When you visit our Sites, you trust us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously, and this Notice aims to explain to you in the clearest way possible what personal information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it.

1. What Personal Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when participating in activities on our website or otherwise contacting us for expressing interest in career opportunities.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and our website, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect can include the following:

Name and Contact Data.

We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, and other similar contact data.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information automatically collected

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Sites. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Sites and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Sites, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.

Information collected from other sources

We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, as well as from other third parties. Examples of the information we receive from other sources include: social media profile information; marketing leads and search results and links, including paid listings (such as sponsored links). If we receive your personal information from a third party, we will notify you, where required by applicable laws, without undue delay.

2. How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use personal information collected via our Sites for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests (“Business Purposes”), to enter into or perform a contract with you (“Contractual”), with your consent (“Consent”), and/or for compliance with our legal obligations (“Legal Reasons”). We indicate the specific processing grounds we rely on next to each purpose listed below.

We use the information we collect or receive:

To send you marketing and promotional communications for Business Purposes. We and/or our third-party marketing partners may use the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. You can opt- out of our marketing emails at any time (see the WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS below).

To send administrative information to you for Business Purposes, Legal Reasons and/or possibly for contractual purposes. We may use your personal information to send you product, service and new feature information and/or information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies. If you engage us for services or purchase a product from us, the provision of certain personal information about you may be required in order to execute a contract for sale or services. Without such personal information, we may not be able to provide products or services to you.

To post testimonials with your Consent. We post testimonials on our Sites that may contain personal information. Prior to posting a testimonial, we will obtain your consent to use your name and testimonial. If you wish to update, or delete your testimonial, please contact us at dpo@techsollifesciences.com and be sure to include your name, testimonial location, and contact information.

Deliver targeted advertising to you for our Business Purposes and/or with your Consent. We may use your information to develop and display content and advertising (and work with third parties who do so) tailored to your interests and/or location and to measure its effectiveness.

Request Feedback for our Business Purposes and/or with your Consent. We may use your information to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Sites.

To protect our Sites for Business Purposes and/or for Legal Reasons. We may use your information as part of our efforts to keep our Sites safe and secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention).

To enforce our terms, conditions and policies for Business Purposes, Legal Reasons and/or possibly Contractual purposes.

To respond to legal requests and prevent harm for Legal Reasons. If we receive a subpoena or other legal request, we may need to inspect the data we hold to determine how to respond.

To provide requested technical support for our products. Techsol uses an online support portal to provide support to our customers using our software products.

For other Business Purposes. We may use your information for other Business Purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and evaluating and improving our Sites, products, services, marketing and your experience

3. Will Your Personal Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We only share and disclose your personal information in the following situations:

  • Compliance with Laws. We may disclose your personal information where we are legally required to do so to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal processes, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).
  • Legal Rights. We may disclose your personal information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
  • Vendors, Consultants and Other Third-Party Service Providers. We may share your personal information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. Examples include payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, IT system management and marketing efforts. We may allow selected third parties to use tracking technology on the Sites, which will enable them to collect data about how you interact with the Sites over time. This data may contain personal information that may be used to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content and better understand online activity. Unless described in this Notice, we do not share, sell, rent or trade any of your personal information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
  • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
  • With your Consent. We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with your consent.

4. Do We Use Cookies And Other Tracking Technologies?

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Policy.

5. Do We Use Google Maps?

This website or Facebook application uses Google Maps APIs. You may find the Google Maps APIs Terms of Service here. To better understand Google’s Privacy Policy, please refer to this link.

By using our Maps API Implementation, you agree to be bound by Google’s Terms of Service. You agree to allow us to obtain or cache your location. You may revoke your consent at any time.

6. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our Sites from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information, as described in section 3 “WILL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?”, in the United States, India, South Korea, and other countries.

Where European Union data protection laws are applicable to the processing of your personal information and if we need to transfer your personal information to third countries, as defined in European Union data protection laws, we will ensure that this will be subject to appropriate safeguards and other requirements as required by applicable law. Such safeguards include complying with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (as described in the section below) and implementing the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information between our group companies and between our third-party providers and us, which require all such recipients to protect personal information regulated by European Union data protection laws in accordance with the requirements of these laws.

Our Standard Contractual Clauses can be provided upon request. We have implemented similar appropriate safeguards with our third-party service providers and partners, and further details can be provided upon request.

Techsol remains liable for the protection of personal information that we transfer to third parties, except to the extent we are not responsible for the event giving rise to any unauthorized or improper processing.

7. EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework

With respect to personal information processed in the scope of this Notice, Techsol, and its subsidiaries, complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce.  Techsol has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF.  Techsol has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern.

8. VeraSafe Privacy Program

Techsol is a member of the VeraSafe Privacy Program. This means that with respect to personal information processed in the scope of this Notice, VeraSafe has assessed Techsol’s data governance and data security for compliance with the VeraSafe Privacy Program Certification Criteria. The certification criteria require that participants maintain a high standard for data privacy and implement specific best practices pertaining to notice, onward transfer, choice, access, data security, data quality, recourse, and enforcement.

9. Dispute Resolution

In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, Techsol commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. DPF to the VeraSafe Data Privacy Framework Dispute Resolution Procedure, an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States and the European Union. 

Where a privacy complaint or dispute cannot be resolved through Techsol’s internal processes, Techsol has agreed to participate in the VeraSafe Data Privacy Framework Dispute Resolution Procedure. Subject to the terms of the VeraSafe Data Privacy Framework Dispute Resolution Procedure, VeraSafe will provide appropriate recourse free of charge to you. 10. Binding Arbitration

If your dispute or complaint cannot be resolved by Techsol, nor through the dispute resolution program established by VeraSafe, you may have the right to require that Techsol enter into binding arbitration with you pursuant to the Data Privacy Framework’s Recourse, Enforcement and Liability Principle and Annex I of the Data Privacy Framework.

11. How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Notice unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

12. How Do We Keep Your Personal Information Safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, the transmission of personal information to and from our Sites is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment.

13. Do We Collect Personal Information From Minors?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Sites, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Sites. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 14. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In some regions (like the European Economic Area), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure, (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information, including limiting its use and disclosure, and (iv), if applicable, to data portability. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. To make such a request, please use the contact details provided below. We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal.

If you are resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Specifically, you can lodge a complaint in the Member State of the European Union of your habitual residence, place of work, or the alleged violation of the GDPR. 15. Do California Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Sites, you have the right to request the removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Sites. To request the removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below, and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Sites, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems.
